Treasure

While my Dad and I were putting poisonous tablets into our attic for mice, we decided to get the stuff out of the other side of the attic. During the summer, I was putting long beams of wood and several 2x4's into the attic for storage. I discovered a trunk decorated with flowers, some type of boogie board and a toboggan. I didn't take them out though.

So we decided to go up there. My dad found more stuff that I didn't see before. There were ski boots, ski poles, skis, two sledding boards, the toboggan of course, two hockey sticks and two containers full of working Christmas lights. We were pretty excited since the stuff is now ours and most of it is actually useful.

I hope you all enjoy the few hours of Sunday we have left.

Happy Sunday!

Further Tales of a Neurotic Cat

So, my cat is neurotic as you all well know. She has this new obsession for playing with a fake flower petal that fell from our fake flower arrangement. I'll be practically anywhere in my house and she will be banging against the stairs trying to chase the darn thing around. She'll hit it further and further away for herself to chase it. Neurotic cat.

This cat is so stupid sometimes because she will give you that face of pretend innocence when she's done something wrong. She was on my mom's desk which has a glass top. There she is, just standing there and licking her lips. The best things is that she can't express emotion. So she is standing there nonchalant.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and Happy Saturday to you all.

Tales of a Neurotic Cat.

I have a five year old cat who is very dumb. As you can see, I love this animal. Well, yes and no. Sometimes she gives me those irresistible eyes that say: "Can you take me to my food." Sometimes I feel sorry for her but other times I just wanna wring her neck. She meows like crazy and then attempts to make that prrr sound. Not purring but a sound that is an adamodapia. (Sorry, don't know how to spell it).

Years ago when we got her, Angel, which is her name, was a tiny kitten who was a nervous ninny. She loved it when we gave her fresh milk and when we picked her up. You could hold her in basically any position possible. Now she gets nervous if you touch her and she usually wants to hiss if your not careful. In short, she turned into a mean little kitty with a lot of spunk.

She is anti-social usually since she hates guests. However, when we're sitting in the family room she'll come in but she'll face the other way. She wants to be with us, but doesn't wanna see us. She has an obsession for laying her head on this bar under the coffee table and licking incessantly. She likes licking in certain parts which I will not discuss publicly. I like to think of our relationship kinda like Gollum and Smeagol. Hate-love relationship.

Her body clock is messed up as she sleeps on the top bunk of my bed all day and proceeds to run laps around the house like a horse at night. When we pray the Angelus she thinks we're praying to her and lays down like a queen in front of the image of Our Lady. I hate it when she lies down on my lap and marches for a minute and then leaves cuz she hears some tiny noise. I could go on and on but I won't. Funny story: when we first moved into our house she slept in our bathroom sink. To stop this; I turned the water on at full blast. She never attempted to sleep there again.

I hope y'all have a great Saturday and watching Michigan trample on Nebraska and watch Michigan State get creamed by Indiana.

Happy Saturday!

Today is the day...

Well, this is the day which is officially the season marker for me. Today is that last time this year that I will be cutting my lawn.

One of the few advantages to winter is the lack of cutting the grass. This is replaced by a more horrid thing known as shoveling a driveway. My driveway can take a very long time depending on the amount of snow-fall. Ten inches of snow equals three hours of shoveling by myself. (I really wish I had a snow-blower). Both of these activities are physically strenuous. I'm not complaining, but it is hard.

Well, I hope Michigan beats Illinois on this wonderfully sunny day and I hope to see my four followers at the trivia night.

Goodbye to fall and greetings to Winter.

Happy Saturday to you all!

Break, Break, Break

"Break, Break, Break on thy cold grey stones oh sea. And I would that my tongue could utter, the thoughts that arise in me."

St. A's fall break is coming to a close and tears are pouring down my cheeks just thinking about it. No, I'm not crying at all. I have always hated studying for tests, but I love taking tests. I think this is almost everybody's case. Anyways, it''l be sad to leave home and go back to the much dreaded midterm exams.

Well, at least I am seeing some of my good friends this afternoon. I was starting to feel kinda lonely. After kind of a depressing weekend for sports, I think I am ready to just face school.

Hope nobody's thrown up while driving or lost their banana protection case or gotten bored of staring at knife magazines. These are not implications of any people I know.

Just kidding guys.

Happy Friday!

Rivals

Today is one of those perfect fall days. Perfect breeze, leaves falling and its semi-cloudy. Its a perfect day for one the greatest rivalries of Michigan College Football.

In approximately five minutes, the game will begin and I hope that the 6-0 wolverines will be victorious. For all my friends who are State fans (I won't mention any names, b/ I am that nice), be ready for a good game.

Happy Saturday and Go blue!

A Time and Place

There is a time and place for everything, as my mom often repeats. There is a time to do school, to joke, to work, to pray, to play, to have fun etc. This list goes on and on. Our goal as Catholic Christians is to manage what we do and when. Every person must manage their own time wisely and accordingly.

Life is basically one big series of events.
