Happy Catholics

Christ calls all of us to be joyful. There are too many angry people in this society. The last thing we need are angry Catholics. As men and women of God, we have a duty to show the love of God to others. Part of that love is happiness. Being cheerful and fun is contagious. Why would someone want to become a Christian after seeing some mopey, gloomy people? Some people may not realize this, but Catholic can have fun too. We can throw a huge party without having to undermine our morality. Sports, movies, a good cigar, a bottle of Guinness, these are all good and wholesome. There is no sin in them!
